Our Clubs
Start Club is available to pupils in Year 1 - Year 4 at the following schools
- Sheffield Girls Infant & Junior School - Lunch Time Club
- Westbourne Junior School - Lunch Time Club
- Birkdale Infant School - After School Club
- Westways Primary School - After School Club
Your child will be collected directly from their class at the beginning of the session. Lunchtime clubs are structured to make sure there is time for lunch to be eaten and for some play time to let off steam before afternoon lessons. After School sessions are for an hour and children will be supervised until they are collected by a parent or guardian, unless they are going to After School Club.
Our clubs are supported by the senior leadership teams at all our schools and are designed to enhance the curriculum. STArt club coordinate topics with subjects that children are learning during their main school day. We add an extra layer of learning in an environment that children find enjoyable and different to their formal education.
Who We Are
Passionate about early years education
STArt club was founded by Dr Anne Lee-Noble. Anne is a Research Scientist and an Early Years Educator. She studied her PhD in Biomedical Science at the University of Sheffield and fulfilled posts as a Post-Doctoral Researcher. Following voluntary placements at her daughters’ school, Anne’s passion of working with children naturally migrated to become a teacher. She embraced the world of studying again in 2017 and accomplished her Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) in Early Childhood Education and Care with teacher status. STArt Club was created in Spring 2019.
